After the success of the first edition in Wellington, the Reel Brazil Film Festival (RBFF) expands in 2010 to add Auckland and Queenstown.
We come back in 2010 with a new selection of features, documentaries and animations bringing a bit of Brazilian heat and passion and this time, spreading the flair in both North and South Islands.
Reel Brazil is about the true Brazil and although the festival is more about films than anything else, we are certainly not intending to deny our festive heritage either. In every city we go to, you are guaranteed a good Brazilian party with music, entertainment and cocktails.
Wellington will sample first hand the creativity, diversity, music, fears and passions of Brazil, through the magic eye of the cinema. The festival will show classics from the Brazilian cinema, as well as recent productions and an animation programme from the new wave of films being produced in Brazil.
